DISPEL THE CAREER FEAR - 14TH FEW CAREER STRATEGIES SEMINAR For Foreign Women
Saturday April 22, 2006 9am to 6pm
Achieving Success with your Career in Japan
The Foreign Executive Women (FEW) is holding its 14th Career Strategies Seminar on Saturday April 22, 2006.
Created by women for women in 1990, this seminar is designed for foreign women who are looking for career motivation, a new job, a change in career or to start their own business while living in Japan. Presentations by foreign women who have found new opportunities whilst living in Japan promise to be inspirational and informative. A series of smaller workshops will enable participants to gain a deeper understanding of the Japanese job market.
Hands on workshops will include entrepreneurship, marketing, HR, PR, finance, and many other occupational fields. There will also be opportunities to network with other professional women.
Previous participants have gone on to enhance their careers or have found new jobs. Some also learnt more about setting up their own business. Other objectives for the day include designing a career action plan whilst being inspired by women speakers who have ‘made it’.
Free to all participants is the comprehensive Career Guide, updated for 2006. This guide is a must have manual outlining resources and instructive information about working in Japan, including up to the minute job search requirements straight from the mouths of top HR specialists.
The 2006 FEW Career Strategies Seminar will inspire attendees to leverage their skills and experience to achieve the career success they deserve in Japan!
The FEW 2006 Career Strategies Seminar will be held at Temple University in Minami-Azabu, Tokyo. Pre-registration is Y12,000, on the day registration is Y15,000. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments are provided.
