In January Mike Davis will share his experiences with creating and producing shows and events at USJ. He will talk about the importance of creativity and imagination and how they work together for success. He will also share his insights on the cross-cultural aspects of selling and delivering American entertainment to a Japanese audience.
Mike Davis is a seasoned senior executive who is committed to bringing the art of entertainment to fans of all ages. In his almost 30 years of Entertainment management experience, he has produced over ¾ of a billion dollars of live shows and events throughout the world. Over the past 7 years, while on the Universal Studios Japan executive management team, he has overcome language and cultural barriers to successfully create hundreds of shows and events for Universal Studios, Japan. As the current Senior Vice President and Executive Producer for USJ, some of Mike's major contributions are seen in recently produced spectaculars like Peter Pan's Neverland, Happy Harmony Celebration, and WICKED.
FEW is a networking organization for women in Japan. Our meetings are usually held on the last Thursday of each month at the Hilton Hotel Osaka in Umeda from 18:30 - 21:00. Non-members are always welcome to attend our monthly meetings to see for themselves why they should join FEW.
