Mini Mindfulness Retreat: Quieting, Creating, Discovering

Our first mindfulness retreat in November was so...mindful!...that participants agreed it would be a good thing to schedule semi-regularly. Repeaters and first-time joiners all welcome for our mini-mindfulness retreat #2.
Feeling busy lately? Lots to do and not a lot of time to slow down? Or if you do slow down is it still hard to relax? If any of this sounds familiar, join us for an afternoon of mindfulness! The focus of our time together will be on quieting our body and mind, being present in the moment, and enjoying simply be-ing, with ourselves and others. Our three hours together will include mindful breathing, gentle yoga, journaling, creative expression, sharing, and mindful eating. You will come away feeling relaxed and refreshed and more connected with your inner self.
Date and time: March 1, 2020 (Sunday) 12:00 - 3:00pm
Location: Free Mind Yoga Studio, near JR Bentencho station (less than 10 minutes from JR Osaka) http://freemind.fun/company.html
Participation fee: ¥4000 (cash on day)
Things to bring: water, small towel, a journal if you have a special one to write in. Please wear clothes that are easy to move in. We recommend you have early brunch and not eat a big lunch right before the workshop.
Instructor: Leigh Kennedy
Leigh is a licensed clinical social worker as well as a certified yoga instructor (and FEW member!). She has a special interest in the power of mindfulness in our daily lives and is excited to share that with you in this workshop.
